In order to achieve an effective method of instruction that accomplishes the expectations of the district's standards and learning goals, it is pivotal for an instructional coach to establish trust in educational relationships, based upon a mutual respect. The inventive skills I have learned during my teaching experience and UNI Instructional Technology graduate work will lead me to develop positive relationships and craft thoughtful and rigorous professional development, which I will combine with infused technology instruction to optimize a districts classroom.
My primary goal is to build rigor and relevance through guided instruction and professional development, discovering a district's area of strength, in order to bring technological adaptability to both educator and student instruction. My methods include differentiating learning techniques to match various styles of instruction, building strong relationships between coworkers and colleagues, and providing the tools, approaches, and knowledge that best addresses each student's development. Instruction must be matched to learning style, which often means the technology and instruction may need to be adjusted or revised for coaching to succeed between teachers in all curriculum areas.
